OBS STUDIO
OBS Studio is a free, open-source, cross-platform screencasting and streaming application (commonly known as Open Broadcaster Software or OBS). It is offered for Windows, macOS, different Linux flavours, and BSD. On the websites Open Collective and Patreon, the OBS Project solicits donations.
Since it uses a command-line interface, OBS Studio streaming with this software requires a bit of technical know-how. The latest version of the classic OBS Studio is Version 27.1.3 released on October 4, 2021. This professional video streaming and broadcasting software are available for download here for macOS 10.13 or newer, Windows 8, 8.1, and 10, as well as Ubuntu 18.04 operating systems. For the Linux version, FFmpeg is required.

OBS Studio started out as a small project created by Hugh "Jim" Bailey but quickly grew with the help of many online collaborators working both to improve OBS and spread knowledge about the program. The first version was released in August 2012. In 2013, development started on a rewritten version known as OBS Multiplatform (later renamed OBS Studio) for multi-platform support, a more thorough feature set, and a more powerful API. In 2016, OBS "Classic" lost support and OBS Studio became the primary version. In March 2022, OBS was released on Steam for both Windows and Mac. OBS Studio may seem extremely frustrating at first glance. However, if you learn to use it step by step, you will quickly discover how simple and incredibly useful it is. The streaming software has lots of built-in tools to easily manage your audio and video sources — all to make your streaming experience nice and smooth.
The main user interface is organized into five sections: scenes, sources, audio mixer, transitions, and controls.

Needs a decent PC or laptop to stream smoothly or to start streaming at all.
Multiple sources are not operational at once.

OBS uses the best open-source video encoding library available, x264, to encode video. However, some people might experience high CPU utilization, and other programs running on your computer might experience degraded performance while OBS is active if your settings are too high for your computer's hardware.
It doesn't have a built-in video editing tool.

We chose OBS Studio due to the fact that it is a user-friendly tool that teaches you how to stream on devices including your desktop, laptop, tablet, and cellphones, which is why we made this decision.
